BadatzWedding.com facilitates pre-wedding registration with the Crown Heights Beis Din, including the collection and review of documentation required for a halachically recognized marriage. This may include verification of Jewish status, marital status, kohen status, and related determinations according to halacha. We do not provide legal or governmental determinations of any kind.
Please note: the registration fee covers the Beis Din filing and document review only. It is entirely separate from, and does not include, any fee charged by the officiating rabbi for the wedding ceremony itself. The rabbi's fee is arranged directly with him.
We recognize the sensitive nature of the information you submit. All personal and family details are treated with the utmost confidentiality, and only authorized reviewers will access your data in the course of evaluating your registration.
A nonrefundable filing fee of $30 is required to open a file and begin the review process. This fee covers administrative costs and document evaluation by the Beis Din. Payment must be made before the review begins. The fee is not contingent on the outcome of the review.
Submission of a registration does not guarantee approval or a specific result. The Beis Din will make all determinations based solely on the evidence provided. Where the available evidence is insufficient, a determination may be delayed, qualified, or not issued.
Our services are provided within a halachic framework. Any disputes or questions regarding an outcome must be addressed exclusively through a competent Beis Din. By registering, you agree that any such dispute will be resolved by Beis Din and not by secular courts, to the extent permitted by law.
